PISTOL II $250

This 4 hour Pistol II course is meant to build on the skill sets taught in the Pistol I / IDPA NSO course. The student will use a concealment garment in conjunction with holster equipment in a controlled environment. The primary focus of the course will have an emphasis on utilizing cover properly and effectively, port shooting, along with unconventional shooting positions using dominate hand only, support hand only, and traditional grip method. The student will learn advanced shooting techniques and will be required to demonstrate them on the range with accurate shot placement. This course is suited for the novice recreational and competitive shooter along with L.E. professionals.

Topics Covered:

  • Review of range procedures
  • Review of draw and re-holster procedure with concealment
  • Review of malfunctions and clearing
  • Multiple threat engagements utilizing cover and unconventional shooting positions
  • Moving into and out of cover
  • Dominate / support hand shooting
  • Safely and efficiently deliver accurate rounds on target

Gear Required:

  • Handgun (no .22 LR), magazines (3 minimum), sturdy belt (1.5”)
  • Wraparound eye and ear protection
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Kydex holster & ammunition carrier
  • Concealment garment
  • 250 Rounds of ammunition

Experience:

  • PAL Course, Pistol I / IDPA NSO course required (unless active L.E.)
