SINGLE-HAND FUNDAMENTALS $250

This 4-hour Single-Hand Fundamentals Course is meant to build on a less practiced and more challenging skill set. The student may use a concealment garment in conjunction with holster equipment, but concealment is optional. The primary objective of the course will be focused on using proper draw, stance and single-handed sighting fundamentals. The course will have an emphasis on proper grip and stance while properly setting up dominant and support-hand engagements to effectively deliver rounds on target. The student will learn foundational single-handed firearm techniques, and after building confidence will be required to shoot under a time constraint with accurate shot placement. This course is suited for the experienced recreational and competitive shooter along with L.E. professionals.

Topics Covered:

  • Review of range procedures
  • Review of draw and re-holster procedure with/with out concealment
  • Review of malfunctions and clearing
  • Proper stance
  • Proper gun position and grip
  • Safely and efficiently deliver accurate rounds on a target

Gear Required:

  • Handgun (no .22 LR), magazines (3 minimum), sturdy belt (1.5”)
  • Wraparound eye and ear protection
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Kydex holster & ammunition carrier
  • Concealment garment
  • 250 Rounds of ammunition

Experience:

  • PAL Course, Pistol I & II Courses (unless active L.E.)
