TARGET TRANSITIONS $300

This 4-hour Target Transition course is meant to build on the skill sets taught in the Pistol I, Pistol II, and Pistol III courses. The student may use a concealment garment in conjunction with holster equipment, but concealment is optional. The primary objective of the course will be focused on using proper draw and sighting fundamentals while driving the gun in various vertical and horizontal target transitions. The course will have an emphasis on proper grip, stance and promote ‘leading with your eyes’ to effectively drive the firearm to different shooting zones on single and multiple threats cutting time, and building speed. The student will learn advanced target transitioning techniques and will be required to demonstrate them on the range with accurate shot placement. This course is suited for the experienced recreational and competitive shooter along with L.E. professionals.

  • Review of range procedures
  • Review of draw and re-holster procedure with/with out concealment
  • Review of malfunctions and clearing
  • Leading targets with your eyes
  • Multiple threat transitions on the move
  • Managing throttle control to reduce time on threat
  • Safely and efficiently deliver accurate rounds on a target

Gear Required:

  • Handgun (no .22 LR), magazines (3 minimum), sturdy belt (1.5”)
  • Wraparound eye and ear protection
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Kydex holster & ammunition carrier
  • Concealment garment
  • 250 Rounds of ammunition

  • • PAL Course, Pistol I, II & III Courses (unless active L.E.)
