LOW LIGHT FUNDAMENTALS $300

This 5 hour Low Light Fundamentals course exposes the student to the proper use of the flashlight and pistol in a low-light environment. The course teaches various target identification and sighting techniques under tactical situations of limited visibility. The student reinforces what was learned during the class instruction and learns additional skills while under the cover of darkness. The culmination of which will all come together in a defensive pistol scenario that encourages the shooter to utilize the flashlight in various ways to neutralize multiple threats. This course is suited for the experienced recreational and competitive shooter along with L.E. professionals.

  • Threat assessment – Mindset and mental conditioning
  • How to control and dominate with lumens
  • Flashlight techniques for shooting
  • Ability to recognize targets in low light and darkness
  • Shooting on the move
  • Utilizing cover

Gear Required:

  • Handgun (no .22 LR), magazines (3 minimum), sturdy belt (1.5”)
  • Wraparound eye and ear protection
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Holster and ammunition carrier
  • Tactical Flashlight (handheld, 500+ lumens)
  • 200 Rounds of ammunition

Experience:

  • PAL Course, Pistol I/ IDPA NSO course required (unless active L.E.)
